Decoration and fade blowing is implemented by sandblasting

Sandblasting allows for the creation of different decorative and fade effects on glass and mirror surfaces. The sandblasting of flat products is done on an automatic line to ensure the final product is as high-quality and flat as possible. The blasted surface can be treated with a substance to protect against fingerprints and dirt if needed.

Gradient sandblasting – the only provider in Finland

With the use of gradient sandblasting it’s possible to implement different fade-outs on the surface of the glass. The technique can be implemented, for example, on shower walls and balcony glass that reaches the floor to implement visual barriers where a part of the glass is left bright and other, lower parts, are made opaque. We are the only glazing service in Finland that also includes gradient blasting as a service.
